Gifts to Give Away

There are gifts that are meant,

To be given away.

They are gifts of the spirit,

That are not meant to stay.

These gifts are temporary,

But will return again and again,

If you give it to a foe,

Or share it with a friend.

They are gifts that flow,

They are not meant for you.

They are from God above,

And His Spirit that flows through.

He is putting you in a position,

Where you can be used more.

Accept these gifts freely.

There is more for you in store.

You can accept these gifts,

But they are not meant for you.

God knows their purpose,

And the vessel to flow through.

He can take a normal vessel,

And use it every day.

Open you heart to Him,

So He can use you today.

His peace can flow through you.

It can spread His love today.

Accept this gift freely,

So you can give it away.

1 Corinthians 12:6-10

6And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

Wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment of spirits, divers tongues and interpretation of tongues are gifts of the spirit. If these gifts are held onto, they can do no good. Gifts from God are meant to flow through you for another person. God chooses who and when His Word should be given. He will make the receiver realize the gift that has been given. We just need to be willing vessels to carry these gifts to another.
