Grace For Today

God has given you enough,

Grace to handle today.

There is no reason to worry,

So stay still after you pray.

Use your common sense,

And then enter a peace.

Rest in His loving grace,

To give your mind release.

You shouldn’t use today,

To worry about tomorrow.

It will increase your anxiety,

And replace joy with sorrow.

Put God on the throne,

Think more about Him.

You need to trust His Word,

And stop the turmoil of sin.

Pray to Him from a place of rest.

Relax because He is on the throne.

Remember when facing a battle,

That you are never alone.

The Shepherd is watching over you.

You can rest because He is awake.

He protected you with His life

Let your mind take a break.

Even believers have to practice,

And how to let your worries go.

Our God knows our future,

So let the peace of God show.

Rest in times of turmoil.

Rejoice every single day.

Don’t let worry rob your joy.

God is with you to stay.

Romans 5:2

1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.3And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

In the middle of our turmoil, there is an abundance of God’s grace. We can breathe in that sweet assurance that He has not left us or forsaken us. Many people face battles in life: sickness, death, divorce, children gone astray, addictions, loss of a job, broken relationships, poverty, and physical and emotional pain. He will supply us with grace for each day. When we are facing troubles, we need to think of just relying on Him for today and knowing that He is still on the throne tomorrow and will supply you with more grace. He will give you the grace and the strength we need for tomorrow.
