God Offers Wisdom

God offers us wisdom.

We have to use self-control.

Together they are the glue,

That makes our brokenness whole.

Focus on your strengths.

Don’t let weakness rule your life.

Focus on the things of God,

To stay free from illness and strife.

Walk in the ways of the Spirit.

Do what God placed in your heart.

The end of your personal story,

Will be determined on how you start.

God will take care of you,

As long as you realize your source.

You can walk in wisdom and power,

As you purposely follow this course.

Your life is not an accident.

You must keep your mind straight.

Keep the eyes of your soul opened,

As you find your way to heaven’s gate.

You cannot sit by idly.

You are in training every day,

Talk to your loving Father,

To help guide your way.

Walk in a trust that is solid.

Knowing that He is the only way.

Use self-control,

So in His light you will stay.

1 Corinthians 10:13

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].

The Bible shares all the wisdom that we will ever need. We do not need to know everything, but we do need to trust that God will take care of us. As we learn more and more about God, we will learn about our responsibility of self-control. We are given choices and have a free-will to decide for ourselves what we want to do. Many times what we want and what we should do are two separate things. The wrong choice will lead to a path of destruction. The right choice will lead you closer to your God. The closer you get to God, the more He will reveal to you. Wisdom is not an instant thing, but takes time and sometimes mistakes. Many times we learn from our mistakes. If we trust in God, He will help us find the way out of our messes. The longer we walk with God as our compass, the fewer mistakes we make. This is using the Holy Spirit that lives in you to guide you. He is the way, the truth and the light.
