20161219_121543The New Year to Come

Christmas is over,

And the New Year is to come.

This could be the year of Jubilee,

And the return of the Son.

Stay ever vigilant,

And listen for His call.

This could be the blessed year,

The best year of them all.

We look eagerly for His coming,

Except for those who are lost.

The sea of sin is raging,

And many are torn and tossed.

Hold onto the Rock,

And offer another your hand,

So that when He returns,

They can enter the promised land.

Enjoy the company of others,

As we let last year go behind,

But be refreshed in spirit,

And be renewed in mind.

Open up your heart.

Offer others your love.

Be an example of Jesus,

And the Father up above.

Let your life make you grow.

Don’t be angry or mean.

Spread His love to others,

In the year 2017.

TRW 12-31-16

Ephesians 4:31-32

31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

As we approach the new year of 2017, it is a time for resolutions. If everyone had the resolution to “love one another” as God loved us, we would have the perfect world. Since that is not likely to happen, make a difference in your little corner of the world. Plan every day to be good to those you work with or those who are placed in your life each day. If we learn to live like every day is our last, we would appreciate all that God has given us. We are to be prepared for Christ to come again; the second  “Advent”. This time there will be no warning. We must be like the bride with oil in her lamp, so that we will be ready for the bridegroom which is Christ. The Church is the bride of Jesus Christ. When God the Father says it is time for His return to earth, He will come and gather his church home to paradise and He will fight the final fight with Satan. All sin, hate and destruction will end forever. There are those, who are not ready and will be cast into hell forever with Satan. Don’t let this happen to your friends, family or acquaintances. Pray for them and offer them what you have…. forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
