To be obedient,

Is to listen to your Father above.

He is the Almighty.

He is peace, joy and love.

Good ideas come from God,

Because God is so good.

He will teach you right,

And guide as a Father should.

You have to find God yourself,

With your heart and your soul.

You do not need to understand,

For God to make you whole.

You can’t let your thoughts,

Lead your way in life.

You can become confused,

And filled with fear and strife.

Worry does not solve problems,

So let the fears go away.

Continue to talk to God.

Go to Him and pray.

Worry tears apart your mind.

It causes you distress.

It does not solve the problem,

Or take away the mess.

Every worry that creeps in,

Combat it with prayer.

Use the Word of God,

Because He really cares.

Satan flees at the Name,

Of Jesus up above.

Jesus listens to your thoughts,

And will shelter you with love.

Love will heal your heart.

It will take your fears away.

You can trust in His Word.

He is the only way.

Philippians 4:6-9

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Sometimes we need to quit thinking too hard on our problems. We are not smart enough to solve our own problems. We need to learn to pray for a peace over our concerns and then try to let it go. Women are especially guilty of worrying and planning. Women like to have a first, second and third plan. They feel it is their job to take care of “things”.  It does not mean we should not make plans for our lives, but we must be able to step back when we feel the anxiety creep in. We need to realize that God is watching over us , loves us, and is ABLE to solve our problems. We are NOT ABLE to change many things in our lives, so when we realize that certain problems are beyond our control, then we need to rely on God for our answer and we must learn to “Wait upon the Lord”.
