Our King

Our Father God in heaven,

Wants to be our King.

He will provide our shelter,

And cover us with His wing.

He will provide us with food,

That feeds the sprit and mind.

He will cover us with love,

Which is merciful and kind.

He has a special place for us,

In this place here on earth,

And has a place for us in eternity,

Through our miraculous re-birth.

He offers us a place in His court.

He has a place set for us here.

He has given us the tools,

To fight our battles and our fears.

He sent His Son Jesus Christ,

To lead us to a better life.

Jesus was the perfect sacrifice,

To take away turmoil and strife.

We carry the Spirit of God.

Jesus left us with righteousness.

We need to walk toward our Father,

And daily we should confess.

We need to tell the world,

About the King that we serve.

We received our portion free,

Not what we deserved.

He made us and He kept us,

To be used in His kingdom above.

He is full of mercy and grace,

And covers us with infinite love.

2 Corinthians 5:20

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Colossians 3:1

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

The greatest mystery of the Bible is the Triune God. There are three persons in One God: the Father, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. God made us and loved us so much that He provided a way for us to one day go to heaven for eternity. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice to atone for our sins to make us able to someday enter into eternity with Him. Jesus sits on the right hand of the Father. We can only talk to God through the sacrifice of Jesus, since God cannot look upon sin. Jesus reconciled us to God. Someday Jesus will return to the earth to gather up His Church (those who have been saved by His grace). We will be in the presence of our King and our Savior. The Holy Spirit stays with us every day as we make our way to heaven. He guides us away from what is wrong and sinful. He encourages us along the way to heaven.
