Transformation needs to happen,

Once you let Jesus in your heart.

You need to learn the truth.

The truth is where you must start.

It will take some time,

And an open heart too.

God can transform your heart.

He left His Spirit with you.

The freedom has been given,

But you have to accept the Word.

Grace is the truth that Jesus brought,

When He came into this world.

He brought many promises,

To place them in your soul.

He is the truth and the way.

He alone can make you whole.

You accepted Jesus as our Master,

But you need to learn what is true.

You need to study His Word,

For this truth to show through.

His truth will bring you peace.

It is how you’ll want to live.

You will want to share Christ’s love,

By learning to forgive.

He forgave you of your sins,

And asks you to do the same.

He did even more to show you,

As He healed the sick and lame.

His love has no boundaries.

He wants you to follow this way,

Until you meet your dear Savior,

In heaven some sweet day.

John 8:32

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

When you were born again, your spirit changed, but your mind still remembers your sin. You will still need to realize your new identity. This will take time as you read and understand the Word of God. The old nature, in you, is gone. When you were born again, you were made a new creature and you need to let go of that past spirit. You are sealed with the Holy Spirit , so you are safe from your old being. God sees you as perfect again. Sometimes our human mind tries to taint our spirit. Our human mind can let the devil lie to us and remind us of who we were. He does not tell us who we are right now. He drags up the past because he wants to bind us up in the misery that sin can bring. Be ye transformed.  Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
