A World in Turmoil

Let us pray for our nation.

Let us pray for our world.

Jesus has won the battle,

So use His Holy Word.

Speak the Word of forgiveness.

Show the world some love.

Don’t get caught in the turmoil,

But look to our Father above.

He loved us more than self.

He gave us all He had.

He gave us our Savior,

To replace all that is sad.

The Name of Jesus brings us peace.

It is our time to fight the battle of life,

But it should not bring about hate.

God is not turmoil and strife.

He is peace everlasting.

He is truth and grace.

So in the midst of the battle,

Stop to seek His face.

Look for His comfort.

Seek the calm in His peace.

The battles that are raging,

Are from fear being released.

We fight when we are threatened,

As we face the liar and thief.

He loves to stir up turmoil.

He does not want us to have relief.

We can take the high road.

The one that leads to heaven above.

We can choose peace over hate.

We can choose the path of peace and love.

Our statement must be clear,

As the battle rages on.

We cannot get caught in the snare,

Proclaim the name of Jesus until Satan is gone.

TRW 5-15-17

John 15:16

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

We are not able to solve the problems in the world by ourselves, but we can pray for peace and love. If everyone prays and exhumes peace from their hearts, we can change the world, one piece at a time. God is the only One who is big enough to win the battle, but He can and will place people in our lives who we are to touch with His love. If every Christian takes care of their assignment, we can make a change through Christ Who strengthens us. We need to pray for our leaders all over the world, that their hearts be softened and be affected by the Word of Christ. We need to pray for peace in the lives of those in turmoil and in war.  We have not got the answers, but God does, so all we can do is ask for His grace and mercy in this world that He meant for good. He created a paradise, but Satan entered in and has been reeking havoc ever since. Satan brings about hate, cruelty, destruction and lies that bring lives into turmoil and confusion. God is NOT a God of confusion, so steer away from all forms of turmoil. Do not get involved in those battles. Choose your battles wisely and take God’s Spirit with you to fight off Satan.
