Stay the Course

Stay the course,

When you feel so lost.

Hold on to the Anchor,

When your world has been tossed.

When you feel you are sinking,

To the depths of despair.

Go to the One who loves you,

The One who will always care.

Our sorrows are safe with Him.

You can go to His arms.

He will fight your battles,

And keep you from all harm.

Continue to stay strong.

Your Helper is at your side.

He is clearing a path.

He is a safe place to hide.

Stay the course set before you.

Don’t be tempted to turn away.

The Spirit of Christ is in you.

He will help you on your way.

Wounds have been opened,

That cannot be covered up.

The world is full of sorrow.

The world is so corrupt.

The enemy uses opportunities,

When you are tired and weak.

He goes about to destroy people.

It is souls that he seeks.

Stay the course of love.

Choose the higher road.

He will help and guide you,

And He will lighten your load.

He will lift your head.

He will strengthen your soul.

Without Him you are weak,

But with His Spirit, you are whole.

Matthew 15:13

But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

2 Timothy 4:16-18

16 At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. 17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

There are times in life that we get confused and we feel lost upon the path that we are on. We do not see the light at the end of the tunnel. We know God is with us, because He promised not to leave or forsake us, but we feel all alone. These are vulnerable times. These are the times that Satan tries to attack us with depression ad feelings of worthlessness. He can pull us down so far, that he can more easily corrupt us with temptations. He will throw “quick fixes” in front of us, which please our physical being, but that destroy our spirit man. Satan will try to make us angry with life, so that we thrash out at those we love. He tries to destroy anything having to do with God’s love for us. He will try to get us to not like ourselves. If we do not like ourselves, we have no room to share or care for others. Just stay on course when obstacles are thrown in front of you. Continually tell yourself that tomorrow will be better and that God has this thing covered. Continue to live a life of hope and of faith. Believe that your Father is watching and has a course set before you. Stay the course.
