Got to Believe It

To get what God has for you,

You’ve got to believe it.

You have His Spirt within you,

To help you achieve it.

If His Spirit is in you,

What more help do you need?

God created the universe.

He will be there to lead.

He will lead you if you ask.

He will show you where to go.

He will calm the storms in life,

As you are tossed to and fro.

He will heal your body.

He will lift up your soul.

You’ve got to belief it,

If you want to be made whole.

Without faith you have nothing.

With faith you can do it all.

There are legions of angels,

To protect you from the fall.

The responsibility is yours,

To use the measure of faith.

To use what God has provided,

Is where you’ll find His grace.

Faith can move mountains,

If you believe in God above.

You will feel His presence with you.

You will experience His love.

You will have a peace within you.

That only God can give.

You’ve got to believe it,

That Jesus came to love and forgive.

To get what God has for you,

You’ve got to believe it.

You have His Spirt within you,

So go out and achieve it.

Romans 12:3

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Matthew 17:20

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Matthew 14:28

25And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. 26And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear. 27But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

God has given every man what he needs on this earth and what He needs to gain eternity. There is an ability in every man to believe in God and to believe in all of His promises. His promises are great and they are ours if we just believe. Because of Peter’s belief in his Savior, he was able to step out in faith and walk on the water, but when he took his eyes off of Jesus, he began to sink. We have to stay focused on our God and all of  His promises. We have to use that little measure of faith, that God has given each of us, and let it grow our faith in all that He is and all that He can do. When we doubt in His promises, we fail, and we fall. When we look to ourselves in the natural, there is much that we cannot do. When we look to God, the source of all grace, mercy and love, there is nothing we cannot do.  We ‘ve got to believe it to receive it.
