The Gift of Righteousness

The gift of righteousness,

Was a gift from God above.

You cannot earn righteousness.

It is from God’s perfect love.

Thank Him each and every day,

For this gift that He has given.

Walk upright in your faith,

On you pathway to heaven.

Satan put on the weights of guilt.

He tells you to be ashamed.

You are the target of destruction.

His arrows have been aimed.

He means to kill and destroy,

Your relationship with God above.

He tells you are unworthy,

Of God’s favor and His love.

The price for your righteousness,

Was paid for at the cross,

So ignore the “accuser”,

And take back what you have lost.

You got lost on your way home,

But you have a right to the path.

He died for all of mankind,

And His mercy will forever last.

God will still love and forgive you.

Go to Him in fervent prayer.

God can do all things.

There is nothing to compare.

He is waiting and watching,

For the time you spend with Him.

He has given you His righteousness.

He has forgiven all of your sin.

James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Many times in life, we do not feel worthy of God’s love. There is really nothing that can make us worthy to be loved by the Creator of the Universe. We have to realize that we should accept the gift of God’s love with open arms. He gives because He loves. Satan will taunt you every chance he can get. He will tell you to feel guilty because of your sins. He wants to muddy the clear water of God’s grace. God is a non-ending flowing fountain of love and of grace. The only way we can obtain that gift is to go to the fountain of His love. Repeat the Words of the Holy Scripture and repeat the words that will lift you up and not bring you down. Repeat those words until they are so deep in your heart, that every time that you have a hard moment in life, that those words will fill your mind. Be washed in God’s love and mercy and feel the covering of His grace.
