The victory is ours.
As we praise our God above.
Shout out His Name in worship.
Tell everyone about His love.
Lifting our hands in surrender,
The battle can be won.
The Temple curtain was torn in two,
By the sacrifice of God’s only Son.
Shout out a word of praise.
Give to God what is due.
He is forever worthy,
And faithful to me and you.
As our praise goes up,
His favor flows down.
He can give us a peace,
And erase all our frowns.
God inhabits the praises,
Of His people here on this land.
Your voice will sound glorious.
Your praises shall sound grand.
Shout about Who He is,
And what He has done for you.
Wait upon the Lord Almighty,
And His grace will follow through.
His grace will cover you.
He has so much love to give.
He will be with you now.
His Spirit will help you live.
Practice your praise of God.
Don’t be afraid to step out.
See what happens when you praise.
Victory can come with a shout.
2 Samuel 6: 11-15
11 And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.
12 And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
13 And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.
14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
God sent His Word to Moses on the stone tablets. These stones were treated as Holy, because God wrote the Ten Commandments on them. They were treated with extreme reverence and were given a special place in the center of the Holy Temple. Only the high priest was allowed in the temple to make a sacrifice to God for all the wrong-doings of mankind. When Jesus became the perfect sacrifice for our sins, the curtain to the temple was torn in two, which signifies that we can enter into the temple of God by ourselves. We can talk to Him directly. We have so much to be thankful for. God loves to hear us praise His Name. His presence is felt when we enter into praise and worship. The Holy Spirit lives in us, when we accept all that Jesus did for us, as being true. We never have to walk through this life alone. We have all we will ever need to succeed. We can dance and sing because Our God is in our midst. We can always be in a happy place, but we need to understand Who it is Who lives in us.
