Just Got to Fix This

You just got to fix this,

And we want it fixed right now.

We have tried to take care of it,

And it is still messed up somehow.

We may need to help the situation,

For the miracle to take place.

We do not just sit and do nothing,

To be blessed by God’s grace.

His presence in our life,

Is the greatest miracle of all.

He has cleared so many paths,

And kept us from so many falls.

Prayer is not just a request time,

But a time to listen too.

To accomplish what He meant,

We also have work to do.

Don’t be affected by the negative,

Peace is in a quiet heart.

We have to look to our Source,

To get the right start.

Even Jesus had boundaries,

There were things He wouldn’t do.

He knows the outcome already,

And what is best for you.

He is not the cause of hardship.

He does not cause sickness and death.

When there are times of turmoil,

Satan is in the middle of the mess.

The sea of anger and waves,

Is just on the surface, you see.

Down deep within that ocean,

Is a peace that was meant to be.

His peace “passeth all understanding.”

It is what we need on this earth.

He promised to enter into us,

To give us a re-birth.

We will have a new beginning,

It is His promise still today.

He will never leave or forsake us,

This is not where we are meant to stay.

John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Many times when we go into prayer with our heavenly Father, it is like a wish list. We dump all of our problems on Him and then just want Him to fix it right now. We expect miracles to happen instantly.  We know He is able and we are assured that He loves us, but we still need to have proof every day to keep us strong in our faith. Communication is not a one-way street. Communication is talking and listening. There are many things that block effective communication. The biggest block in communication is to only half-listen. When we only half listen, we usually jump into something just to find out it was not the correct path to take. When we talk to God in prayer, it takes a special kind of listening. Some people hear God’s voice clearly, but most of us have to mill things over in our minds to hear the solution to our problem. Will the solution glorify God? If it will then there is a much better chance that you have heard His voice within you. Work steadily on that problem, talking to God as you go.
