Glue in the Broken Pieces

God is the super glue,

In the broken pieces of life.

He can restore the joy,

And take away the strife.

He can mend a broken marriage,

And make it stronger than before.

He has to be in the middle.

He alone can restore.

He can take what was lost,

And put it together again.

He can take that enemy,

To become your greatest friend.

This friend has walked in your shoes.

They have felt the empty space,

When Satan has attacked,

But God responded with His grace.

He watched when you cried.

He heard you when you prayed.

The relationship was broken,

But your loving Father stayed.

It took two in prayer.

It was not a one sided thing.

You were surrounded by His grace,

And all the angels did sing.

This one union was saved,

Although it was broken in two.

With God in the middle,

There is nothing He cannot do.

His is the glue that will hold,

Through thick and thin.

There was a battle going on,

That only God could win.

He took the broken pieces,

That became stronger this time,

Because of your faith,

In the Father who is sublime.

John 10:10

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Marriage is in God’s plan, yet so many marriages do not make it. Satan is in the middle of the mess, you can be assured. There are so many things that can go wrong in a marriage. It takes commitment from both parties. It cannot be a one-sided thing. A married couple must take this commitment seriously and be ready for the attacks of Satan. Satan will throw everything at you that he can, to destroy the love. Satan has no room for love since he broke his love connection with the Creator. It is important that a couple grows together and has an open line of communication. Communication should start well before the wedding. Remember that Satan will attack each person individually, so that he can destroy one half. If he can split the union in two, they cannot stand as one. Work on your love and your relationship. Don’t take each other for granted. Be mindful of your finances. Stay faithful and do not look outside the marriage for the reassurance of your worth. Do not let addictions take over your body. Continue to pray together to chase Satan away. When you feel descent or troubles brewing, realize right away that there is an attack on your union. Immediately take action and demand that Satan leave your home, “in Jesus Name”. Satan will flea at the Name of Jesus. It takes two for a union, so both must want the marriage to survive and thrive.  If it fails, then only one side was trying. One side cannot make the other person choose love.
