Weariness

Weariness comes,

When you don’t hold His hand.

He is willing to help,

And heal you in this land.

The choice is yours.

You can walk it all alone.

The path is much easier,

If you follow Him home.

Everyone needs a leader,

But they also need God.

There is only One to follow,

As on this world we trod.

The path to destruction is easy.

The path to God not so.

Satan will try to deceive you.

He will toss you to and fro.

To deny God is foolish.

It is a straight path to hell.

To decide to love and serve Him,

Is the only way to be made well.

Your strength will come,

From your Savior up above.

He will take your weariness,

And fill you with peace and love.

God will not force your love.

The choice is yours to make.

Accept Him as your Savior,

Or make your biggest mistake.

Rest will come with Jesus.

Weariness will go away.

Suddenly you will see clearly,

About where you want to stay.

There is only one God.

There is only one heaven above.

Believe in His glory,

Find rest in His love.

Galatians 6:9

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Don’t wear yourself out looking for the answers, but look for the promises instead. Look for the promises that have to do with faith.

Hebrews 11:1

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Romans 1:17

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Mark 4:40

And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

2 Corinthians 5:7

(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

When we grow weary in life, we need to question ourselves about our faith and then ask God to cover you with His grace so that you will feel His presence. A little child has faith in many things, but as they grow older they start to question many things and become caught in the trap of adulthood and dis-belief. It takes constant effort to stay in touch with God. If we stray from His Word, we will find ourselves alone and weary.
