Where Can You be Found

Where your riches are,

There you shall be also,

But you will reach for God,

When you are rocked to and fro.

We are obsessed with things,

That gratify our life.

Is it of any real value,

Or does it bring heartache and strife?

When God calls on you,

He knows where you can be found.

He will bring you down to earth,

And set your feet on the ground.

You may be high and mighty,

Or as plain as you can be.

He knows how to deliver you,

And also, how to set them free.

You cannot hide from God,

When He is ready to use you.

He will give you the equipment,

To help you follow through.

Where can you be found,

And are you willing to Go,

To help someone who is struggling,

As they are tossed to and fro?

They are feeling lost in life.

They do not feel loved and well.

They feel doom and gloom,

And are in a “living hell”.

There is so much more,

Than they can imagine today.

You can share your Savior,

And guide them on their way.

Hope can be found in Christ.

Where can you be found today?

Humble yourself before Him,

And go to Him and pray.

Pray for God’s help today.

Pray for that one lost soul,

Ask God to equip you,

To help the broken feel whole.

Luke 19:2-10

2 And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.

3 And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.

4 And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.

5 And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.

6 And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

7 And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.

8 And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.

9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.

10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

If we worship money and things, we may not be as eager to help others or to understand where they “are at” in life. We have to show compassion and try to understand human hardship, to offer others a way out. If we are compassionate, others may see the love of God that shines through us. If we show hatefulness and drama, we cannot help lift another out of that same situation. If we love stuff more than God, we may not be willing to step out of our comfort zone to help another. We must learn to put God first and then all other things will fall into place. We also must be willing to accept the forgiveness of our Father, to be willing to forgive others. Where will God find you when he needs you to work for Him? If you are not where you should be, then you need to pray first, before you set out to help another. It is an important task that you do, so do it well. God may be using this person or circumstance to bring you “back to earth”.
