Fruit Bearers

We were saved for good works,

So where is the fruit we bear?

Jesus took away our sins,

Because of how He cares.

Where is the love,

That was shown by Jesus our Lord?

It leads to peace,

And walking in one accord.

Where is the joy,

And the happiness in your heart?

You have the seeds of greatness.

That is where you should start.

Where is the faith,

That helps us in longsuffering in life?

We can walk in victory,

And walk through all the strife.

Where is the gentleness,

That flows from the Master’s hand?

He came to restore the beauty,

In this battered and broken land.

Where is the goodness,

That can overcome the bad?

Where is the hand that gives,

To those who are hurt and sad?

Put the murmuring behind you.

Be fruit bearers here on earth.

God knows your value.

Jesus gave you your worth.

Philippians 2:10-15

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Galatians 5:18-25

18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Jesus saved us from our sins so that we could do good. He wants us to bear His fruit. We can do this because His Spirit lives within us, but we must remind ourselves who we are. Salvation was instant when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, but salvation does not stop there. When we received this pure and perfect gift, we should be willing to share it. We should share this perfect love with others. We have good works in us, but we have to work them out of our spirit. Be fruit bearers. Take the fruit of the Spirit and share it with others.

Judge Me Not

Judge Me Not

Judge me not today.

Judge me not tomorrow.

I am walking the best I can,

Considering my burdens and sorrow.

You may see my mountain,

But you cannot see it from here.

My past looks at my future.

I have to deal with my fear.

I am trying to overcome,

The fears from my past,

And looking toward eternity,

Which will forever last.

I watched Him bring me through,

But I still carry doubt somehow.

If you just knew how I suffered,

You would not talk about me now.

Do you want my past worries?

Do you want my present fears?

Will you walk my problem with me?

Will you wipe away my tears?

My burdens seem too heavy,

To make it through this time.

I will expect my angels around me,

To help me on this climb.

I may slip on my journey,

As I struggle with my footing below.

Don’t judge me as I stumble,

But pray me through this blow.

He helped me before today.

And He will help me tomorrow,

As I face my difficulties,’

He will carry my sorrow.

Only God can know my pain,

But I could use your prayers,

As warriors and overcomers,

I am glad that you care.

Matthew 7:1-2

1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

It is easy to judge someone else’s behavior as we look from the outside. We would just do this or just do that to resolve the problem. Have your really “walked in their shoes”? Do you really understand what they are going through? We are all made so uniquely and that is how we work on our own problems. None of us have the same make-up or the same DNA. We all have different emotions and worries because of what we have been through in our past. We may have similar problems, but our past determines how we handle those problems. Even our experience with God is different from any other. When a friend shares a problem with us, the answer may seem clear to us, but it is not manageable for them. They are working on their fears and trying to overcome their fears to work through that problem. Fear is a tool used by Satan and he can effectively use that fear to stifle our progress toward peace. We can help another person the best by praying for them to find clarity in a solution and to cover them with a hedge of protection by using the name of Jesus to protect them from the attacks of Satan. You can stand with them in prayer, when you really can’t walk with them through the problem. Prayer warriors are the best companions you can keep.

Save Our Nation

Save Our Nation

Save our blessed nation.

Make it whole again.

Grab a hold of Jesus.

He is our trusted friend.

H can break the turmoil.

He can stop the unrest.

Lean on the Holy Spirit.

He can use the best.

We can again be great.

We can share God’s love.

He can clear the path,

To eternity up above.

He is the only Way.

He is the power on the earth.

Power must be given to the nation,

Who needs a spiritual re-birth.

Equip us with Your power Lord.

Anoint us with Your grace,

So that we can be united,

Without regard to age or race.

The prayer of the faithful,

Shall heal the oppressed and sick.

We need to stop this evil,

And we need to do it quick.

We can see our nation sinking;

A nation which was once great.

We are afraid of our future.

We are frightened about our fate.

Things can still be changed,

But it will take a family of God,

To bring our nation back,

To a good and holy sod.

We need to pray daily.

Each must do their part.

We can make a great nation,

With God as the start.

TRW 7-19-16

All through the scriptures are examples of turmoil and problems when nations turned away from God. God asks for obedience and for love of His people. Many people in our nation have rejected Jesus as the Lord and Savior of their lives. We need to be an army who rises up and proclaims Jesus as their Lord and their leader. If we do not deny Him, He will not deny us, when we stand before the judgement seat. We need to pray daily for our nation and its leaders as well as leaders in other parts of the world. There are nations who would wage war with other nations and think nothing about the importance of every human life. We need to pray for those nations who do not respect the life of their people nor those of other nations. We need to continue to try to spread the good news of God’s love for people and about what Jesus did for us.

Unanswered Questions

Unanswered Questions

I have so many questions.

That go unanswered in life.

I do not understand pain.

I struggle with fear and strife.

If God is all powerful,

And God is pure and good,

Why do bad things happen,

To those we think that they shouldn’t.

Why do good people get sick?

Why do babies get sick and die?

I have unanswered questions.

I just want to know why.

Why do bad people go unpunished?

Why do they thrive in life,

When I see good people suffer,

In a life of pain and strife?

I just have to trust and know,

That God is love and He is pure,

But in this world of sin,

I must learn to endure.

If I had all the answers,

And I could cure the world,

I would be like God,

And not have need for the Word.

I need to love without condition.

I must trust Him, not  knowing.

I must make it through the trials,

And with faith, keep growing.

1 Thessalonians 5: 14-18

14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

16 Rejoice evermore.

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Since there is no answer for unanswered prayers, we must just get comfortable in not-knowing. There are many scriptures that tell us about believing and if we ask and we believe that we shall receive. We start to question when those truths do not work. It is then that we must wait. We must fervently believe in the sovereignty of God and that He will cover evil with good and that He will help each of us walk through troubled times. We must give thanks, even when life is not fair and when we do not understand how a good God allows so much bad to happen. We must just say: God is good, Satan is bad and that all that is bad comes from Satan. We must tell ourselves that we are not home yet and that all will be revealed to us once we are in His presence.

Love That Flows

Love That Flows

The love that flows from you,

Is an example of Jesus above.

He is full of grace and compassion,

And is perfect and pure love.

We are connected with the Father.

He is connected to our life.

He is the source of our comfort.

When we are filled with strife.

The scripture tells of a love,

That is ours every day.

We just have to reach out,

To God as we kneel and pray.

God’s grace is flowing freely,

Anytime we have a need.

He is covering our life.

He is helping us with our deeds.

God’s story is filled with love,

He is your covering in life.

He will cover your needs.

He will lift you out of strife.

He is your provider today.

He is your hope for tomorrow.

He is the healer of your body,

And the cover for your sorrow.

The love that flows from heaven,

Is free for all of mankind.

He will fill your soul with goodness,

And comfort your troubled mind.

Jeremiah 31:3

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, [saying], Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

1 John 4:8

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

“And they know we are Christians by our love”. God is love and those who love God will spill over with His love for His people. His desires for us are for good and not for evil. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Love is the greatest power in heaven and on earth. A person who has been given love, will give love. Love has a lot to do with faith. We have to believe that we are loved by God to be able to share that kind of unconditional love that He has. We can forgive others, since God has forgiven us. To feel love is to live in peace. Love is like anything in life. It has to be practiced to be perfected.

Go to Reason with Him

Go to Reason with Him

Why do these things happen?

Go to reason with Him.

His love and mercy is able,

To set you free from sin.

Fruit only comes in time,

After the roots are running deep.

God will give you what you can handle,

When you arise out of your sleep.

You feel so unsure some days.

Some days you walk in fear.

The righteous will also suffer,

And will also cry some tears.

When you want to go deeper,

And you want to understand more,

You must take your time,

For the future God has in store.

You just want to go to Him,

To find the reason for your life.

You desire to be in calm assurance,

And be rid of confusion and strife.

You’re not sure what you want,

But You can rest on your Guide.

You can totally trust in His love,

And feel Him at your side.

God’s ways are so much higher,

Than we could ever know.

You must wait on His timing.

A time to reap and a time to sow.

Romans 11:33-36

33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?

36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom beglory for ever. Amen.

Sometimes in life, we get impatient for the next day in our life. We want to know what is going to happen. We want to have a reason for everything. It takes time to learn to really trust in God’s mercy and love. Maybe what we want is not what God wants. We need to talk to God and listen for His guidance. When we do not know which way to turn, we just have to trust God for our future. The truth is that God is merciful and kind and He is watching over your life in the good times and through the bad times. Never cease talking to God and trying to understand life. Most things we learn , we learn from looking back at our past mistakes. Even mistakes have value and can help us go ahead, but we have to trust in the strength that God has placed in our being to keep pressing forward and not living in defeat.

Hold Onto Your Dream

Hold Onto Your Dream

God gave you your life.

He placed a dream in your heart.

Hold onto that vision,

As He gives you a fresh start.

Remember where you’re headed.

Remember where you got your start.

Life on earth is for the strong.

It is not for the faint of heart.

Don’t let your vision go,

But go to the Lord above.

Ley Him fill you every day,

With His grace and His love.

The enemy will try to steal,

The vision planted in your heart.

Hold on to that dream,

And the One who gave you a start.

You have a higher calling.

God has a vision just for you.

He will send you the Helper,

For your dreams to come true.

Give praise to our God,

Who gave you vision for your life.

Helping others along the way,

Toward happiness, not strife,

Your dream can help another.

There is much for you to share.

Jesus will open your eyes,

To show you how to care.

Psalms 37:4

Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Your dreams and God’s purpose for your life should follow along the same path. He wants us to have the desires of our hearts and He says we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Don’t give up on your dreams, but pray about them and listen for direction from God. Ask Him to show you how your dream can help another person find their way to Him. If that part of the vision is not clear, then just wait upon the Lord and allow yourself to be used by Him in your everyday life. Keep your eyes focused on the ultimate prize which is heaven and eternity with Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

Finding a Happy Place

Finding a Happy Place

Where can you find happiness?

What kind of place do you seek?

Are you looking for bold and loud,

Or a place that is mild and meek?

Seek ye the kingdom of God.

Look for Jesus, your Lord.

Then your heart will be content,

As you walk in one accord.

What are you looking for?

What are you trying to find?

Are you resting in His assurance,

Where you will find peace of mind?

Righteousness is a great feeling,

Knowing that you won’t fall,

Because you have a Savior,

That understands it all.

He is the way to great happiness.

He is the way to peace and love.

He is the path to your Father,

Who is waiting up above.

It is easy to find happiness.

Jesus can wipe your tears away.

Safe in that Happy place,

He is that peaceful place to stay.

There is satisfaction in Him.

You can rest in His grace.

When the world seems to fail you,

He is your Happy Place.

Praise His Holy name.

Raise His name in song.

You will feel that contentment,

Because you are where you belong.

John 14:1

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

John 16:24

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Psalms 34:8

O taste and see that the LORD [is] good: blessed [is] the man [that] trusteth in him.

Isaiah 26:3-4

Thou wilt keep [him] in perfect peace, [whose] mind [is] stayed [on thee]: because he trusteth in thee.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,,,

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Maybe man is looking for freedom to do whatever he wants to make his body and mind feel happy or giddy. Maybe man is looking for the wrong kind of happiness. The word “Happiness” is not in the Bible, but love, joy and peace are. So through Jesus, we can find joy, peace and love. We need to seek Him in those dry times in life. He is the “living water”. He is perfect peace. He is perfect joy and He is perfect love. We need to seek Him. Sing His praises to bring Him into a place that seems dark and lonely. He can fulfill all your needs.

He can be your Happy Place, like no other place in this world.

The Pastor Took a Seat

The Pastor Took a Seat

The Pastor took a seat,

As the Holt Spirit entered in.

People headed to the altar,

For this service to begin.

They carried their concerns,

They emptied out their fears.

There was rejoicing in heaven,

As God wiped away their tears.

The message had been planned,

With much time and care,

For the members of the church,

And others there to share.

The Spirit was welcomed in,

On that bright sunny day,

As saints and sinners alike,

Got on their knees to pray.

The praise was heard in heaven,

So far away and yet so near.

Their hearts met with Jesus,

The One they loved so dear.

There was no need for preaching,

As the Spirit entered their hearts

It’s all about a relationship,

And worship is where it starts.

It was a message of praise.

It was people talking to God above,

Asking for His care and comfort;

Feeling His mercy and love.

The Pastor shook his head,

Letting God take full control.

God was mending their hearts,

And making them well and whole.

TRW 9-10-17

Psalm 119:10-16

10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.

11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

12 Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.

13 With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.

14 I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.

15 I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.

16 I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.

Pastors have to plan on what to preach as God lays in on their hearts. Then there are those services that the Holy Spirit takes over. The flow is different. It is a wonderful service indeed, when the flow to the altar is ongoing as more and more people take their needs to God. The pastor just steps back at that time and attends to the needs that he sees. Others also reach out to help others pray through their needs. Everyone who goes to the altar, is filled and goes away satisfied. When we worship with truth, there is a calling to the Holy Spirit, who will come into our presence and answer the needs of God’s children. Right now there are so many needs, so the altars should be filled with believers; praying for relief and for miracles.
