Honor All Men

Put on a new robe today,

For we are a royal priesthood.

We should honor all men,

And strive to do much good.

We should honor them by service.

We should represent God’s grace.

We should help lift them up,

And wipe the tears from their face.

We should invite them to taste,

The goodness of the Lord,

And take away from their hearts,

The hurt and angry words.

Tell them of the love of God.

Show them a better way.

Invite them to a safe haven,

Where they are welcomed to stay.

Show them kindness and mercy,

That comes from their Father above.

Show them willingness to serve,

From the source of power and love.

Love your brother here on earth.

Fear your God up above.

Do what is good and right

Honor the King of Love.

Be part of His royal priesthood.

Show others to His throne.

Tell them of your King,

Who will never leave them alone.

TRW 3-10-17

1 Timothy 2:9-17

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;

12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;

14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.

15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

When you are called to the salvation of  Christ, you put on a new way of life. You become part of a priesthood, whose main desire is to do good and serve others. This is what Jesus demonstrated in His walk here on earth. He taught us not to judge others, how to forgive, how to be compassionate and how to walk a life focused on the kingdom of heaven and His Father on the throne. He tells us to not worry about what we wear or what we have, because God provides us with what we need. We need to represent God to others on this earth, so that they are all given the opportunity to serve the One and Only God of the Universe.
